Michael Lemieux (BOSTON, MA production) is very excited to be part of the Boston premiere of Just Say Love. His first year in Boston has been an exciting one. He was most recently seen in the Fiddlehead Theatre production of The King and I as King Monkut, and in A Christmas Carol as Jacob Marley. Past performances include The Laramie Project, A View From The Bridge, the Boston premiere of 9-Ball, and Mr. Personality on FOX. As producer of Neutrino Video Projects Boston and as an actor with Rebels Without Applause, Michael can be seen regularly testing his improv skills at Improv Boston. “I am psyched to have the chance to bring this story before the Boston audience. I really want to thank the Davids for the opportunity, and my family and friends who have had the patience to keep supporting my dreams. Oh, and Gram- you ROCK!”


James Ryen (BOSTON, MA production) joins Just Say Love with numerous area stage credits under his belt. They include Arms and the Man (Lyric Stage Company), Fat Pig (SpeakEasy Stage Company), The Winter's Tale (Actors' Shakespeare Project), The Odyssey (New Hampshire Theatre Project), Oedipus Rex, POEms, and Hamlet (New Art Theatre), The Taming of the Shrew (Commonwealth Shakespeare Company), Love's Labour's Lost (Huntington Theatre Company), Romeo and Juliet (American Repertory Theatre), and The Innkeepers and Julius Caesar (Gamaliel Theatre Company). His film and TV credits include Shuttle and Waterfront. James holds a B.F.A. from the University of Oklahoma and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.



Jonathan Barron (BOSTON, MA production) is excited to be in the Boston cast of Just Say Love. He is the original Doug from the very first production and has continued to play the role as the writer work-shopped the piece through several productions around the country. Jonathan has spent the past 12 years touring North & South America and Western Europe as an actor, musician, and soccer player. He recieved his BA in Theatre from the University of New Hampshire. Aside from Doug, some of his other favorite roles have included Danny Duval in Swimming with Dolphins, Sky in The Last Little Porn Shop in Manhattan, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Simon Zealots & Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar, and the Voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors. Jonathan coninues to work with the Boston-based improv troupe, Rebels Without Applause. He also works as a composer & musician for the revolutionary rock star, Them Theyarerich the Sound Maker. Awarded a fellowship by the Artists Foundation of Massachusetts for his screenplay Fireflies and winner of the Jane Chambers Memorial Gay Play Contest for But Mostly Because It’s Raining, David Mauriello is an accomplished and seasoned local writer. His plays Ten Minutes and Just Say Love were both nominees in the best original script category by the Spotlight on the Awards, Portsmouth, NH. His ten minute play One Great Big Light has been a finalist in new play festivals and is included in the Eileen Heckert Senior Drama Archives at the Lawrence and Lee Theater Research Institute at Columbus State University. The First Love Letter was awarded third prize in a Montreal competition. His plays have been produced in New England, California and NYC. He is also the author of the book Reminders of Home, a collection of inspirational writing. His play Body is referenced in the new book The Immortal Marilyn by John DeVito and Frank Tropea.



David Rothauser (BOSTON, MA production) has worked in all forms of theatre and the media.  He began his career as an actor while living in Paris, France. Among his film and television credits are The Longest Day (20th Century Fox), Kennedy and Spenser:For Hire (Warner Bros.) In the United States he has worked with the Living Theatre, The Manhattan Theatre Club and the Provincetown Repertory Theatre in NYC and regional theatres in New England.

As a writer Mr. Rothauser works in all media: stage plays, screen and television scripts, feature articles and film reviews. He was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts grant for a screenplay about the Sacco-Vanzetti case, received a First Place Massachusetts Artists Fellowship for his stage play, The First All American President and won a Blue Ribbon at the American Film Festival in NYC as co-producer of, A Good Example; Bertolt Brecht and Huac. In 1999 he received the Sacco-Vanzetti Award for Social Justice from the Community Church of Boston.

He is founder of Memory Productions, an independent film company which produced his original screenplay, The Diary of Sacco and Vanzetti, broadcast on WGBH-TV on Jan. 27, 2004 and April 17, 2005. Currently he teaches American Theatre and Public Speaking at Showa- Boston, a branch of Showa University for women in Tokyo.

During the Summer of 2005 David completed preliminary filming in Japan about the life stories of Hiroshima-Nagasaki survivors.

David is a long-standing member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors' Equity. He is also a member of the Writers Guild of America and the Dramatists Guild.
